Thought Out has announced the PED3-Auto, a rotating car mount for the iPhone 3G or iPod touch. A five-inch flexible steel neck is used for device positioning, while the holder rotates 360 degrees to change orientation. Owners can also adjust the device-gripping fingers for a customized fit. The package includes a double-sided adhesive pad that is claimed to stick to any hard plastic surface. A screw-mount is also provided for a more secure hold. The PED3-Auto is priced at $50, and can be purchased directly from the company. A flexible neck extension and a cup holder that attaches to the mount should be available soon.
