Usbfever has announced a new 9-in-1 iPhone/iPod touch FM Transmitter made specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch devices. The transmitter also provides a USB port for charging other peripherals and a remote control. The FM transmitter works across the full FM spectrum (87.5-108MHz) and is powered by a car's cigarette lighter. Other features include a line-in input and an LCD display, as well as a cradle and charger for the iPod or iPhone. The Transmitter is available now for $40 with worldwide shipping set at $3. The remote control included with the player has basic controls for the iPhone or iPod touch attached to the transmitter, controlling play, pause, next, and previous tracks, as well as adjusting the frequency of the transmitter. The 9-in-1's 3.5mm line-in input will allow other MP3 players, including other iPods, to play through the transmitter, but the remote control will not work with the players, only adjust the tuner. It has 10 preset channel memory and utilizes Two-Dimensional Tuning Technology, which scans frequencies faster and switches quickly between coarse and fine tuning. It is available in black (a special-order white option is also available).
