T-Mobile on Wednesday introduced a new low-cost home service plan. Launching July 2nd, the wireless providers @Home plan will give customers unlimited nationwide calling for $10 a month.

The new @Home plan offers a number of other features for that price, including call waiting, caller ID, three-way conferencing, voicemail, and call forwarding. Subscribers will also be able opt into a number of traditionally wireless features, such as ringback tones.

T-Mobile initially rolled the service in Seattle and Dallas, expanding its availability after a reported 97 percent of subscribers dropped their landline services. "For years, the traditional landline companies have been great at consistently delivering one thing to their customers--a high monthly bill," said the companys president and CEO. Robert Dotson. "T-Mobile is now delivering the best priced home phone service in America for our existing and future customers. In addition, we are not only delivering the traditional features of a landline service, we are also including the innovative features consumers love in their more widely used mobile phones."

@Home works with standard cordless phones and broadband Internet connections. Customers must purchase an @Home HiPort Wireless Router with Home Phone Connection, which runs $49.99 with a two-year service agreement.
