Seeing as how Apple got hip to its accidental shipment of MobileMe boxes, it looks like were going to have to wait until the official release date before getting our grubby paws on the companys new iPhone-to-PC syncing app.

Until now, speculation has largely put the apps release date at July 11th, the same date that the company is having some other big product release.

Apple sent out a note today, however, stating that the company will be taking .Mac offline this Wednesday, between 6 PM and 12 AM Pacific Time. According to the note: "Members will be unable to access www.mac.com or any .Mac services during this time, with the exception of .Mac Mail accessed via a desktop application, iPhone or iPod Touch."

A one year subscription to MobileMe will run $99.
